I have a question. What forces the prices upwards besdes:
1)Inflation of the money supply
2)Commercial deficits which devalue the currency of a country
3)Sales taxes/VAT
4)Big taxes on profit which make all producers increase prices
5)Productivity drops of the economy that imports
Anything else? I have a project to make and I can’t think of others besides these and you know economy better than I do since I’m just a freshman in economics school. If you can help me, I’d be really happy.

Honestly, I don’t claim to be an economics expert. Most of my “expertise” comes from reading some books on economics and good ol’ common sense. One thing you don’t have is shortage of something that goes into producing a good or service. That would also cause prices to rise.
